This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver sugar caster has a cylindrical rounded form onto a spreading circular foot.

The surface of the sugar caster is plain and unembellished.

The caster retains the original hallmarked push fit cover embellished with pierced decoration and surmounted by a sterling silver urn style finial.

The caster is fitted with three applied Art Nouveau style swept handles with birfurcating strolling upper terminals.

The lower terminal of each handle is ornamented with an organic leaf design in junction with the foot.

This antique sterling silver sugar caster is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The caster has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks struck to the rim of the cover are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this Edwardian silverware.
