This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver tea caddy has a rounded rectangular form, in the Regency style.

The lower portion of the body is embellished with impressive convex fluted decoration, with batwing terminals to sides and extended flutes to each corner.

This antique Regency style tea caddy is encircled with an applied reed decorated border to the upper rim.

This antique sterling silver tea caddy retains the original hallmarked hinged cover, encompassed with an applied moulded border to the rim.

The anterior edge of the caddy features a plain incurved thumbpiece.

This impressive example of Regency style Edwardian silverware is supported by four impressive Regency style claw paw style feet.

The underside of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, 112 Regent St, W'.

This antique Regency style tea caddy is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The caddy has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the caddy and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of Edwardian silverware.
