Description


This exceptional antique Edwardian silver tea caddy, in sterling standard, has a plain rounded oval shaped form.


The surface of this tea caddy is plain and embellished with convex and stepped ornamentation, accented with bands of ribbed decoration to the upper portion.


This antique sterling silver tea caddy retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover, surmounted with a plain cushion style finial.


The tea caddy was crafted by the renowned and collectable London silversmith C S Harris & Sons Ltd.

This antique Edwardian silver tea caddy is an exceptional gauge of silver for its type, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the caddy and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
