Description


This fine antique George VI sterling silver teapot has a plain rectangular cushion shaped form onto a spreading collet style base.


The body and foot of the teapot are embellished with Art Deco style vertical incurved embossed bands to each corner.


This antique teapot is fitted with a hallmarked domed hinged cover featuring further embossed ornamentation, reflecting that of the design to the body.


The cover retains the original carved rectangular cushion shaped ivory and sterling silver finial, securing to the interior with a screw fitting.


This teapot is fitted with the original fine and impressive shaped incurved carved ivory handle featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece, all in the iconic Art Deco style.


This fine antique teapot is fitted with an impressive swan necked spout featuring further paralleling embossed decoration.


The underside of the teapot bears the retailer's mark '˜The Alexr Clark Co Ltd, Fenchurch St. London'.
