This exceptional antique Victorian silver teapot, in sterling standard, has a plain globular form to a spreading foot.

The surface of this sterling silver teapot is embellished with the engraved episodic floral and foliate sprays.

This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover ornamented with further engraved decoration and surmounted with the original, cast sterling hallmarked silver stemmed bud and foliate finial, securing to the interior with a screw fitment.

This Victorian teapot is fitted with an exceptional hallmarked C shaped handle embellished with further engraved floral designs to the handpiece and a plain scrolling thumbpiece.

This exceptional teapot handle is fitted to impressive scroll decorated sockets with plain shaped terminals in junction with the body.

The silver swan necked spout is embellished with an applied scrolling leaf motif to the lip.

The underside of the teapot bears the contemporary engraved initials 'MAS' and retailer's mark 'Garrards, Panton Street, London', in addition to the full hallmarks.

This Victorian silver teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The engraved decoration is crisp in keeping with age and location on a rounded surface.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the teapot, in addition to the part hallmarks to the interior of the cover, handle and finial are all very clear.
