This magnificent, fine and impressive antique silver teapot, in sterling standard, has a circular rounded form.

The surface of the body has a frosted finish and is embellished with impressive applied branches of blossom and leaf decoration.

This antique William IV sterling silver teapot is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover, ornamented with a continuation of applied branch designs to a cast silver floral finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece.

This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive hallmarked sterling silver C shaped handle, embellished with naturalistic textures.

The teapot is fitted with a fine and impressive plain swan necked spout, replicating the aforementioned texture of the handle.

This 19th century silver teapot is supported by three impressive feet, bearing further organic textures.

This magnificent teapot if fitted the original stained oak wood presentation box, with the original blue velvet bespoke lined interior.

The interior of the box bears the retailer's plaque 'IW&F.B.Thomas, Silversmiths, 153 New Bond St, London'

The cover of the box features the original flush hinge brass carrying handle, indicating the high quality of the presentation box and teapot.

The box bears a brass escutcheon for the locking mechanism; the item is not presented with a key.

The teapot and presentation box are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire.

This antique 19th century silver teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

The applied decoration is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside, in addition to part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
