This fine and unusual antique George V sterling silver teapot has a plain, octagonal panelled cushion shaped form onto an octagonal spreading stepped foot.

The surface of the teapot is embellished with plain embossed borders paralleling the shape of each panel.

This octagonal silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked domed, hinged cover encompassed with further embossed bordered panels.

The cover is surmounted with the original carved wood and sterling silver octagonal domed finial.

This fine teapot retains the original C shaped carved wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece.

The underside of the panelled swan necked spout is ornamented with an embossed stylised single leaf design.

This antique teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This octagonal silver teapot has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

There are some minor blemishes to the surface as to be expected, in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the teapot and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian silverware.
