An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver 3 light candelabrum made in the Adams style; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection

This exceptional antique George V sterling silver 3 light candelabrum has plain oval capitals onto a tapering knopped column to an oval spreading foot, in the classic Adams urn style.

This antique candelabrum retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit scrolling arms.

The concave fluted capitals are fitted with the original detachable hallmarked push fit sconces embellished with applied reed decorated borders.

Each capital surmounts an impressive drip pan, reflecting the same design as the sconces.

The central capital retains the original hallmarked push fit urn style snuffer.

This 3 light candelabrum can be used as a candlestick once the push fit arms (labra) are detached.

The candlestick is ornamented with a large knop bearing the same decoration to that of the sconces and drip pans.

The tapering column and base of the candlestick are embellished with further concave fluted ornamentation.

The weighted base of this impressive candelabrum is fitted with a panel of green baize to the underside and bears the retailer's mark 'Z Barraclough & Sons, Leeds'.

This exceptional candelabrum was crafted by James Henry & Herbert Barraclough of Z Barraclough & Sons.

This antique candelabrum is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The embossed decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the base and part hallmarks to the sleeve of the sconce, labra and snuffer are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
