The cover retains the impressive original cast hallmarked sterling silver finial realistically modelled in the form of a stemmed gourd amidst foliate decoration.

Each piece of this sterling silver tea set is fitted with an impressive cast sterling silver scrolling handle, ornamented with leaf decoration to the thumbpiece.

The anterior surface of the exceptional hallmarked teapot handpiece is further ornamented with a panel of foliate and floral decoration.

The teapot's cast sterling silver swan necked spout is embellished with floral and foliate decoration to the upper surface, in addition to an impressive and large leaf design to the underside.

Each piece is supported by four large cast silver, leaf decorated feet, with impressive leaf and foliate designs to the sockets.

The cream jug and sugar bowl retain the original gilt interior.

This magnificent example of Victorian silverware is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire.
