A fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver three piece tea service in the Art Deco style; an addition to our silver teaware collection

SKU A1911

This impressive antique George V sterling silver three piece tea service/set consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl.

Each piece of this fine Art Deco tea service has a plain panelled octagonal form onto a stepped collet style foot.

The surface of each piece is plain and embellished with an applied Art Deco angular stepped motif to either side.

The teapot is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover surmounted with the original Art Deco wood finial, secured to the interior of the cover by a screw fit nut; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this service.

The teapot is fitted with an impressive composite angular stepped Art Deco handle.

The cream jug and sugar bowl are also fitted with impressive angular Art Deco sterling silver handles, reflecting the design of the teapot handle.
