This George III tea service is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the lip of the cream jug and the underside of the teapot and sugar bowl and part hallmarks stuck to the cover are very clear; the maker's mark to the cream jug and teapot stand have wear in keeping with age and location.
