Description


This exceptional antique sterling silver water jug has a cylindrical rounded form.


The surface of this cordial/water jug has a planished finish in the Arts and Crafts style.


The jug is fitted with a plain sterling silver stylised C shaped handle, with an angular upper portion.


This silver water jug has an impressive cylindrical support embellished with applied iconic Arts and Crafts style square tiered motifs.


This jug was crafted and signed by the renowned London silversmith Charles Boyton.


Date: 1935

This antique silver water jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

 

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
