This antique Victorian sterling silver vesta case has a plain rectangular rounded form.

The anterior surface is embellished with a black hot enamel border, accented with the wording 'In Memoriam' - in memory of / in memorial to.

The posterior surface of this antique vesta case is plain and unembellished.

This fine silver and enamel vesta case is fitted with a hinged cover, incorporating a plain rounded thumbpiece to the anterior edge and is surmounted with a ring loop attachment.

There is an integrated serrated panel/match striker to the underside.
