Description


This exceptional antique George V sterling silver and glass dish has a circular compressed form.


The surface of the silver dish has a planished finish.


The dish is fitted with three plain scrolling handles in the Arts & Crafts style; with the use of the three handles, this piece could easily be transferred down a dining table.


The dish retains the original hallmarked cover surmounted by a plain bun shaped finial.


This George V dish is fitted with a detachable green glass liner.


This impressive preserve dish was crafted in 1935 and bears an additional hallmark to commemorate King George V and Queen Mary's Silver Jubilee.

This antique dish is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

This sterling silver preserve dish is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and the interior of the cover are very clear.
