These exceptional antique silver candlesticks have a cylindrical shaped form onto a circular domed base.

The cylindrical capitals integrate into the upper portions of the columns and retain the original circular shaped detachable push fit sconces.

Each sconce is ornamented with an embossed floral array with an undulating border to the rim.

The cylindrical barley twist column of each Swedish silver candlestick is entwined with an embossed floral and foliate festoon.

The bases are encompassed with further embossed floral designs accented with large scrolling leaf designs.

Each base has an undulating crimped style rim, reflecting the formation of the sconce.

Both candlesticks do not have weighted bases.

The hallmarks struck to the surface of each base includes:

Silver quality/purity mark: 830, S (.830, 830/1000)

National mark: Three Crowns

This exceptional example of antique silverware features no maker's mark; the maker is therefore unknown.
