This exceptional antique Swiss 14ct rose gold snuff box has a rectangular rounded form.

The body of this antique gold box is embellished with exceptional engine turned decoration flanked with applied panels of tri-coloured gold foliate and floral ornamentation.

Either end of the box is ornamented with a chased decorated multi-tonal gold floral spray, encompassed with tiered scrolling leaf motifs.

This impressive box is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover incorporating a plain rounded thumbpiece to the anterior edge.

The upper plateau of the cover is embellished with a continuation of the decoration to the sides of the body and incorporates an oval vacant cartouche.

This gold box has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 carat gold.

This antique gold box is an exceptional gauge of gold, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The engine turned decoration is very crisp and the applied and chased ornamentation is very sharp.

The hallmarks to the interior of this Swiss gold box are very clear.
