These fine antique Victorian sterling silver mounted, tortoiseshell Victorian piano candlesticks have a plain cylindrical form onto a domed base.

The candlesticks have plain cylindrical tortoiseshell columns, retaining the original sterling silver inner sleeves and original hallmarked push fit sconces.

The rounded sides of each circular sconce are embellished with a shaped crimped border to the rim.

The upper portion and lower portions of these impressive tortoiseshell columns and the base of each candlestick are encircled with embossed decorated hallmarked sterling silver mounts.

The decoration to the lower column is further ornamented with a crimped border in junction with the base.

The domed tortoiseshell bases are encircled with a further crimped borders to the rims.

These antique Victorian piano candlesticks are a very good gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The embossed decoration is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the sconces and surface of the crimped border of each candlestick are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Victorian silverware.
