This stunning, fine and impressive antique pearl brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a beetle.
The abdomen of the beetle is represented by a stunning Mabe pearl accented with a broad ribbed design to the yellow gold underside; this continuation of anatomical decoration indicates the high quality of the piece.
The head, thorax and legs of the beetle are embellished with millegrain decorated pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European, Dutch and eight cuts.
This stunning Mabe pearl bug brooch secures to the reverse with a hallmarked hinged pin and hook fastening.
This brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold and silver.
This impressive brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
