These fine and impressive vintage emerald earrings have been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
Each earring is embellished with an impressive central feature collet set oval cabochon cut emerald.
The feature emeralds are each encompassed with sixteen pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
Each earring is further ornamented with a substantial yellow gold double stranded border, accented with an overlapping motif to the upper portion, completing the design.
These earrings secure to the reverse with a hinged clip-on fastening; a pin could be added to the reverse upon request.
These vintage cabochon emerald earrings are hallmarked to the hinged latches with the French import gold mark (owl); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office.
The earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
The earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
