This fine and impressive amethyst pendant has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a palladium setting and 9ct yellow gold chain.*
The pierced decorated yellow gold setting displays a feature 7.13ct octagonal cut amethyst at the centre of the design.
The feature stone is surrounded by six collet set Old European round cut diamonds with a further two diamonds accenting the setting.
The 9ct yellow gold belcher chain is hallmarked to the conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening with the marks for 9ct gold.
This antique gemstone pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct yellow gold and palladium.
The pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

NOTE *Platinum/Palladium Alloy: As with all precious metals, platinum in its pure state is very soft. Pure platinum is very easy to work with, as it can be welded, soldered and takes on a lustrous polish but unless heavily cold-worked, it is too soft for every day wear in jewelry. It must therefore be alloyed with another metal such as palladium, iridium or copper to improve its durability.
