This exceptional antique Chinese silver picture frame has a shaped rectangular form with a rectangular internal window.
The photograph frame is embellished with fine and crisp engraved decoration, depicting a series of Chinese settings and landscapes, including traditional fishing boats and groups of birds towards the upper portion of the frame.
This fine example of antique Chinese silverware is fitted with an impressive boxwood frame back and the original silver strut.
The frame is inset with a removable glass panel, in addition to a photograph in keeping with the period of the piece.
