This exceptional antique Swedish 830 standard silver cream boat has a plain oval rounded form onto three bracket style feet.
The body of this impresssive piece is embellished with embossed lobed channels eminating from the posterior portion.
The plain upper portion features an irregular scalloped shaped rim.
The cream boat is fitted with a plain scrolling handle ornamented with an impressive applied and chased leaf decorated thumbpiece, continuing across the upper socket to the scrolling posterior portion of the body.
This impressive example of 19th century silverware is supported by three impressive bracket style feet ornamented with layered chased leaf decoration.
The cream boat retains the original gilded interior; the gilt interior, in addition to the country of origin, determines the nature of this piece as a cream boat and not a sauceboat.
