This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The symmetrical, sinuous design is ornamented with a 5mm (approx.) feature pearl, encircled with ten round faceted demantoid garnets to the centre of the frame.
The subtly convex frame is further embellished with six individually collet set demantoid garnets, embellished with millegrain decoration.
The scrolling design of this impressive pendant is embellished with a total of fifty-one pavé set seed pearls, graduating in size dependant on location.
An impressive claw set oval faceted cut demantoid garnet drop suspends and articulates from the lower border of the design.
The pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via a shaped ring loop to the upper border of the design, accented with a further two graduated pavé set seed pearls.
This versatile pendant may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse; this may be removed if so required, allowing the piece to only be worn as a pendant; this feature indicates the high quality of the piece.
The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the mark for 15ct gold (15ct).
This antique demantoid garnet and pearl pendant brooch is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
