This exceptional antique Chinese silver tea service consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, with the original sugar tongs.
Each piece of this antique tea set has a circular rounded, compressed form onto a plain circular pedestal foot.
The surface of each piece is encircled with two fine and impressive embossed and chased decorated undulating, iconic Chinese dragon designs, accented with elevated applied whiskers; this indicates the high quality of each piece.
The teapot is fitted with the original domed hinged cover surmounted with a rounded silver finial.
The teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with exceptional C shaped handles, replicating a continuation of the dragon's body and conjoining the decoration either side; this indicates the high quality of the service.
This exceptional Chinese silver teapot is fitted with a plain tapering spout.
