Maker: William Comyns & Sons Ltd (C & R Comyns)

Date: 1925

This antique 20th century sterling silver beer jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The jug has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full British hallmarks struck to the underside of the body are all very clear, apart from the maker's mark; the remaining three hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.

Due to the high quality of the piece and nature of the lower portion of the hallmark, there is a strong possibility the maker is William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Charles & Richard Comyns).

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this antique silver beer jug.
