This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in palladium with platinum settings.
The asymmetrical brooch design is accented with seven stunning four-claw set cushion cut Ceylon sapphires, totalling 22.27cts.
The undulating wirework stems supporting the Ceylon sprays are conjoined with six four-claw set round faceted cut rubies, totalling 0.35ct.
This splayed arrangement terminates to the lower portion with an impressive pierced decorated pear shaped cluster setting.
The cluster design is embellished with a collet set 1.01ct pear faceted cut sapphire to the centre, encompassed with twenty-two pavé set Old European round cut diamonds.
The apex of this pear-shaped design is further embellished with a collet set Old European cut diamond.
The lower portion of the brooch is embellished with a fluted, lobed palladium motif; it can be interpreted that these represent the tail feathers within a stylised, fanned peacock design.
This stunning sapphire ruby and diamond brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening; the piece is hallmarked to the clasp fastening with the 14ct gold fineness mark (14K).
The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as palladium, platinum and 14ct gold.
This antique brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
