The anterior portion of the necklace is ornamented with a multi-tassel design emanating from a lozenge-shaped motif ornamented with textural balls.
The clasp is embellished with a wirework lobed design to the outer circumference.
The substantial gold necklace secures to the reverse with a push fit clasp, and benefits from the added security of a hinged catch.
The clasp is hallmarked with the maker's mark (SS), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 9ct gold fineness mark (375), the London Assay Office mark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1975 (A); the tongue also bears the gold guarantee mark and 9ct gold fineness mark.
