This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian pendant has been crafted in 9ct rose gold with a silver setting.
The pendant/locket has an oval form consisting of two compartments.
The anterior surface of the locket is embellished with a stunning oval hand-painted miniature portrait depicting a young woman.
The central portrait is bordered by a silver set scrolling, undulating millegrain decorated frame, complete with a trefoil shaped tied bow design to the upper portion.
The Victorian gold locket is embellished with two impressive round faceted cut rubies, rose gold collet set to the apex and nadir of the portrait.
The pierced decorated frame is ornamented with six millegrain decorated collet set diamonds, in addition to a further sixty-one pavé set eight cut diamonds.
The nadir of the stunning design features a teardrop shaped rose gold terminal set with an impressive green paste panel.
The reverse of the impressive hinged compartment displays a secondary hand-painted miniature portrait, depicting an older figure's face.
The Victorian pendant suspends from a contemporary 9ct yellow gold 18" fine trace chain via a ring loop attachment to the upper border of the design.
This Victorian portrait pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold and silver.
