This fine and impressive vintage horse brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
The vintage brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a galloping horse.
The body of the horse is embellished with a textured finish.
The horse's mane and tail are embellished with six pavé set eight-cut diamonds totalling 0.10ct, in alternating 18ct white gold settings.
A single collet set 0.02ct cabochon cut ruby represents the horse’s eye.
The brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the body with the maker's mark (BRLD), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18 ct gold fineness mark (18), London Assay Office hallmark (leopard head) and date letter for 1971 (q).
This impressive 1970s brooch secures to the reverse with an 18ct white gold hinged pin and safety clasp.
