The decoration to the ship incorporates the blue hot enamel decorated numerals '44' to either side of the central tower, in addition to the initials 'C14' to the anterior portion of the vessel.
This impressive antique silver submarine ornament surmounts an ebonised stained wood presentation plinth fitted with a vacant rectangular plaque to the lower portion of one side.
The posterior portion of the ship is further ornamented with a protruding pole, accented with a red hot enamel horizontal pennant flag.
