This impressive vintage double strand pearl necklace displays a total of one hundred and forty vintage (circa 1960) cultured pearls, graduating in size and individually knotted.
This fine pearl necklace secures to the reverse with a high quality antique (circa 1900) 14ct yellow gold cluster clasp featuring a natural pearl set in subtle relief to the centre of the millegrain decorated platinum set scalloped frame, incorporating twelve pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
This pearl necklace is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
The antique clasp has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct gold and platinum.
NOTE: Amalgamating antique and vintage elements to produce single item of jewellery was common practice in the mid 1900's.
