The lower portion of the incurved body is ornamented with embossed, convex fluted decoration below a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a talbot sejant erect with a shield.
The waisted upper portion is plain and unembellished.
This antique silver coffee pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover, which features further segmented fluted decoration to the domed portion.
The cover retains the original carved oval fluted painted wood and sterling silver finial.
