Sterling Silver Parcel Gilt Beaker - Antique Victorian (1873)

This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver beaker has a cylindrical, tapering form.

The surface of this antique silver beaker is embellished with bright cut engraved oval rosette designs, alternating with simplified ivy sprays.

The lower shaped border is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified ivy leaf decoration, conjoined with a wrigglework scalloped border.

The anterior of this exceptional London silver beaker is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of out of a coronet two lion's jambe crossed.

The upper and lower portions, the underside and interior of impressive beaker retain the original gilding.

This Victorian London silver beaker is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The bright cut engraved inscription and crest are all very crisp.

The original gilding has some wear in keeping with age.
