These magnificent antique George IV cast sterling silver candlesticks have a baluster shaped form onto a shaped base.
The bulbous capital of each candlestick is ornamented with floral and scrolling designs.
The capitals are fitted with the original hallmarked detachable sconces ornamented with matte textured panels amidst scrolling leaf and floral ornamentation to the shaped rim.
The undulating columns are ornamented with a continuation of bead, flute and floral ornamentation, all in a swirl design.
The magnificent cast bases each feature three large scrolling motifs emanating past the collet style rim and encasing the abundant floral and foliate, textured designs.
Each silver candle holder does not have a weighted base.
These candlesticks were made by the renowned London silversmith William Eaton; one of the pieces bears the date letter 'l' (1826) and the remaining three are struck with an 'i' (1824).
These magnificent 19th century candlesticks are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire.
