The brooch is further ornamented with twenty individually four claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, incorporated into linear settings alternating each floral cluster, and completing the design.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
This exceptional example of vintage diamond jewellery is hallmarked to the reverse with the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), in addition to the Italian maker's mark (LUNATI P. di P. & G. LUNATI) and town mark for Alessandria (160 AL).
