This exceptional antique George II sterling silver coffee pot has a tapering circular rounded form onto a circular domed spreading foot.


The body of this antique coffee pot is embellished with impressive chased floral and foliate ornamentation, accented with opposing scrolling motifs.


The ornamentation to this exceptional example of antique teaware incorporates a large shaped cartouche to either side; one side displays a contemporary engraved coat of arms.


The second cartouche depicts the later engraved crest depicting a dexter arm in armour embowed, holding in the hand a roundel.


The upper rim of the body is encompassed with a plain applied moulded border.


The coffee pot retains the original domed hinged cover embellished with further exceptional chased floral and leaf ornamentation and surmounted with an impressive cast pineapple style finial.


This Georgian silver coffee pot retains the original opposing scroll carved wood handle featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece and fitted to impressive cast silver scrolling terminals.


This antique coffee pot has an impressive cast sterling silver swan necked spout embellished with an impressive leaf design to the lip, in addition to an undulating shaped socket encompassed with chased leaf textures in junction with the body.


The circular domed spreading foot is encompassed with a band of applied moulded decoration to the rim.


The underside of this exceptional silver coffee pot bears the maker's mark.

This antique coffee pot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The chased and cast decoration is all very sharp.

The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the coffee pot, in addition to part hallmarks to the sleeve of the cover and maker's mark to the underside are all clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
