The surface of each decorative centrepiece features an impressive glass dish embellished with fine cut and acid etched foliate decoration.
The centre of each vessel features a hallmarked sterling silver panel, ornamented with engraved decoration reflecting the design to the glass.
Each antique glass dish is encompassed with an impressive sterling silver mount, embellished with a stylised leaf design.
The ornamental body of each tazza surmounts an exceptional detachable urn shaped pedestal, encompassed with swag decoration.
The lower portion of the pedestal conjoins with an impressive acid etched glass foot to a further silver mount to the rim, reflecting the same design to the aforementioned border.
Each tazza is fitted with an exceptional cast, hallmarked sterling silver coiled double-snake decorated handpiece to one side; the intertwining tails lay parallel to the underside of the glass vessel and conjoin with the pedestal.
These exceptional examples of antique silverware were crafted by the renowned London silversmith John Samuel Hunt and bear the retailer's mark 'Hunt & Roskell' to the rim.
