This antique sterling silver epergne / centrepiece has a plain, tapering form with a flared rim onto a bell shaped base.
The main flute has a pierced decorated rim, ornamented with a Chippendale style border.
This Edwardian centrepiece is fitted with three plain scrolling sterling silver arms.
Each arm is attached terminates with a circular receiver.
Each receiver holds one of the three original removable fully hallmarked flutes, embellished with a pierced decorated rim and a Chippendale style border.
The bell shaped base of this fine epergne unscrews from the feature flute.
The base of this Edwardian centrepiece has a pierced decorated, flared foot, further ornamented with a Chippendale style border.
This antique epergne would sit well with a pair of antique vases (SKU W2680) displayed in our Vase Category.

Condition
This antique epergne/centrepiece is a very good gauge of silver , fine quality and in excellent condition.
The centrepiece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface and the base of the central flute, and to each of the three supporting flutes are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique Edwardian silverware.
