This exceptional antique George III sterling silver mug has a plain baluster form onto a circular domed spreading foot.


The surface of this antique mug is plain and unembellished, encircled with a plain applied moulded border to the upper rim.


This lady's mug is fitted with an impressive opposing scroll handle with a leaf decorated thumbpiece and scrolling lower terminal.


This antique mug was crafted by the renowned female silversmith Hester Bateman.

This 1780s silver mug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the mug are very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
