The antique Victorian brooch has a symmetrical heart and intertwining snake design.
The heart shaped setting is embellished with a stunning feature 1.35 ct pear cut diamond is seven claw set in subtle relief to the centre of the design, bordered with thirteen pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
This elevated heart shaped setting is encompassed with two coiling serpent designs ornamented with a total of eighty-six pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European round cuts and Dutch cuts.
This stunning silver set Victorian snake and heart brooch secures with a detachable hinged pin and clasp brooch clasp fastening to the reverse of the setting; this removable fitment indicates the high quality of the piece.
This versatile antique brooch can also be worn as a pendant via a hinged loop to the reverse surface; if required a ring loop could be attached to facilitate the piece to sit flush in situ.
