These exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V sterling silver candlesticks have an oval form to a knopped tapering column onto an oval spreading base, in the Adams style.

These antique English silver candlesticks have oval bell-shaped capitals with flared rims, each encompassed with concave fluted decoration accented with a reed decorated girdle.

Each candlestick retains the original hallmarked push fit sconce with reed decoration to the rim.

The knop to the upper portion of each column is encompassed with further reed decoration, reflecting that of the sconces.

The tapering knopped column of each candlestick is embellished with concave fluted and reed decoration and surmounts an oval spreading base.

The oval spreading bases are ornamented with embossed subtly concave fluted decoration, flanked with further reed decorated borders.

These antique Adams style silver candlesticks have weighted bases and are fitted with green baize to the underside.

These antique weighted silver candlesticks are an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

Each component has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each base, in addition to part hallmarks to the interior of the capitals and sleeve of each sconce are all very clear.
