This exceptional 1930's jewellery set consists of a stunning amethyst cocktail ring accompanied by an impressive pair of matching earrings.
The feature high profile, pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a stunning collet set 20.90ct cabochon amethyst held in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
The amethyst is encircled by fourteen individual stylised leaf motifs embellished with green enamel and accented with applied 18ct yellow gold ball decoration.
The anterior design is displayed on a subtly convex, pierced scroll decorated mount, supported by impressive leaf and ball decorated, shaped shoulders.
The 18ct yellow gold ring shank is shaped and ornamented with paired pinnate leaf designs.
The stunning earrings that complete this antique amethyst jewellery set, reflect the same design as the ring, each cabochon being surrounded by twelve green enamel leaf and ball motifs.
The earrings are also displayed on feature pierced scroll decorated mounts, fastening to the reverse with substantial, shaped, leaf and scroll engraved hinged latch clasps which secure on to the post fitments.
This stunning set of jewellery from the 1930's is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report cards, one for the ring, and one for the pair of earrings.
Each item has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
