This stunning, fine and impressive Colombian emerald cocktail ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated, rectangular geometric design setting is ornamented with a feature central cabochon cut 3.40ct Colombian emerald, collet set in relief to the centre.
The emerald is flanked on either side by a tapering stepped design, embellished with a total of eight collet set baguette cut diamonds.
The surrounding setting is set with a further twenty-two pavé set Old European round cut diamonds to complete the design.
The pierced decorated, elevated and flared ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark 'ES' and a mark that is illegible.
This stunning antique gemstone cocktail ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card for the diamonds in addition to a emerald report card and certificate from the Gemmological Certification Services, London.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
