The pierced decorated, heart-shaped frame displays a 2.10 ct oval mixed cut aquamarine, ten-claw set in relief to the centre of the arrangement.
The heart shaped design incorporates interwoven scrolling motifs, ornamented to the upper borders with a feature claw-set 0.88 ct and 0.78 ct Old European cut diamond.
The openwork frame is further embellished with six collet and claw set diamonds in a combination of Old European cuts and Dutch cuts.
This stunning pendant/brooch is ornamented with three seed pearls, in addition to a single seed pearl articulating terminal suspended from the lower border of the frame.
The pendant is fitted with a removable 18 ct white gold ring loop attachment to the upper border, collet set with three graduated Old European round diamonds.
The pendant suspends from an 18" 18 ct yellow gold chain, composed of alternating twisted bar and fancy knotted links.
The chain secures with a push fit clasp to the reverse, hallmarked with the mark for 18 ct gold (18CT).
This versatile piece of Victorian jewellery may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse; this may be removed to allow the pendant so sit flush if so desired.
This stunning pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
This stunning antique Victorian brooch / pendant is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones and aquamarine.
