This stunning versatile antique Victorian pendant/brooch has been crafted in 12ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
This pendant/brooch displays a feature floral composition of six impressive heart shaped cabochon opals with an elevated central round faceted cut diamond.
The arched frame is embellished with six claw set diamonds in relief to the medial arrangement, alternating with three-claw set diamonds to each incurve.
The outer circumference of this stunning setting is embellished with further six claw-set heart shaped cabochon opals accented with six further Old European cut diamonds, emanating from the aforementioned relief set stones and completing the design.
This antique Victorian opal pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via a detachable tapering bale ornamented with a further cabochon opal; a chain length of your choice can be supplied upon request.
The pendant is fitted with a removable 12ct yellow gold bale attachment to the upper border, set with a single, central heart shaped cabochon cut opal, in addition to four Old European cut diamonds.
This versatile pendant may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse; this may be removed if so required, allowing the piece to only be worn as a pendant.
This pendant/brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 carat gold and silver.
