This stunning, fine and impressive vintage bangle has been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The twist style setting of the bangle features a graduating linear array of seven individually claw set round faceted cut emeralds to one side, totalling 3.20cts.
The opposing portion of the twist design bears seven transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 3.95cts.
The hinged bangle secures to one side with a push fit catch and benefits from the additional security of two hinged safety catches.
This vintage 1940s bangle is hallmarked to the reverse of the clasp with the 18ct gold mark (750) and the tongue bears the French gold import mark (owl); this mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office.
This stunning vintage emerald and diamond bangle is supplied with five IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card for the supporting diamonds and emeralds.
Such bangles with an array of large diamonds are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
