These fine and impressive vintage sapphire earrings have been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with 18 ct white gold settings.
Each shaped cluster earring is ornamented with a feature oval cut blue sapphire, four-claw set in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
The sapphires are each encircled by twelve 18 ct white gold claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
This central cluster design of each earring is encompassed with a navette-shaped channel set border incorporating twenty-six mixed cut blue sapphires.
The lower portions of these earrings are further ornamented with a paralleling channel set border embellished with a total of twenty mixed cut sapphires.
Either side of each symmetrical shaped earring is embellished with a curvilinear array of four modern brilliant round cut diamonds, completing the impressive design.
These vintage earrings secure to the reverse with a hinged clip-on fastening, in addition to the added benefit of a hinged pin, allowing the earrings to be worn by pierced and non-pierced ears; this versatile functionality indicates the high quality of the earrings.
Each earring is hallmarked to the interior of the hinged latch with the 18 ct gold fineness mark (750) and the earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
