The pierced decorated, cluster design is ornamented with an impressive feature 0.65ct cabochon cut white opal, ten claw set in 18ct white gold in relief to the centre.
The impressive opal is encircled by ten individually claw set round faceted cut rubies, totalling 1.10cts.
The stunning vintage ring is further embellished with ten modern brilliant round cut diamonds individually set to the outer border of the cluster design.
The elevated, tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The interior of the ring shank is clearly hallmarked with the maker's mark (AJW), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1984 (K).
