This stunning, fine and impressive Colombian emerald and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The ring displays a stunning feature 2.18 ct Old European round cut diamond and a 1.70 ct round step cut Colombian emerald, eight-claw set diagonally on a twist within a pierced decorated basket style setting.
The curved ring shoulders integrate into the twist design and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This antique 1920s ring is hallmarked to the interior with the platinum mark (PT).
This stunning ring is supplied with an AnchorCert Gem Lab certificate*.
Such original rings of this high quality are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
NOTE: * This certificate accredits the emerald originating in Columbia and verifies that the gemstone shows no evidence of treatment; to locate such a stone, with no treatment, is becoming increasingly rare.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
