This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in 12ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The antique Victorian brooch has been modelled in the form of a dolphin creating a circular form.
The shaped setting is embellished with one-hundred and eight pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and Dutch cut, graduating in size dependant on location within the anatomical-shaped frame.
The head of the dolphin is further ornamented with an impressive 0.03ct round faceted cut ruby, representing the eye.
This stunning and rare antique diamond dolphin brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp fastening to the reverse of the setting.
This versatile antique brooch can also be worn as a pendant via a hinged loop to the reverse surface and suspends from an 18" 18ct white gold curb chain; the brooch pin could be removed upon request to allow the piece to be worn as a stand-alone pendant.
This stunning antique Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12ct gold and silver set.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
